Dr. Bowman tweeted that new software/app is available. Does the former version have to be removed before installing the newer version?

You can uninstall the software and select the option to preserve your existing F@h data, but you should be able to install the new version on top of the former version.

Please note that it is recommended that you finish processing all WUs to prevent any potential lost progress.

I just installed 7.6.9 over 7.5.1 without uninstalling the old app. No problems.
7.6.9 does seem to take a LONG time to install all the themes...

Likewise, finished WUs in progress then installed straight over 7.5.1 on two PCs so far without any problems. Just waiting for the others to finish their current WUs and they too will be updated.

Not sure what these themes are but my installs were very quick, even on the relatively slow PC.
John.

Themes are what you can use to change the look of FAHControl. You can do that by opening up FAHControl -> Preferences -> Theme, there's a drop down menu to choose from. I personally use Wii-Black as I prefer dark interfaces.

Ah, thank you PantherX. I recall finding that setting back in the early days of exploration but, not finding the need for anything other than the default theme, promptly forgot about it!
