Failing to connect to work server

I'm running Debian 10 trying to get jobs for my GPU. I suspect I may have some driver issues, but nonetheless it's trying to get jobs and failing for network reasons:

Code: Select all

15:13:05:WU01:FS01:Connecting to 65.254.110.245:8080
15:13:05:WU01:FS01:Assigned to work server 192.0.2.1
15:13:06:WU01:FS01:Requesting new work unit for slot 01: READY gpu:0:Cedar PRO [Radeon HD 5400/6300/7350/8350] from 192.0.2.1
15:13:06:WU01:FS01:Connecting to 192.0.2.1:8080
15:13:06:WARNING:WU01:FS01:WorkServer connection failed on port 8080 trying 80
15:13:06:WU01:FS01:Connecting to 192.0.2.1:80
15:13:09:ERROR:WU01:FS01:Exception: Failed to connect to 192.0.2.1:80: No route to host
Seems one of the servers on the list is down? I don't see anything in my network config that would be blocking access to that address.

The cards based on the Cedar Pro chip do not support Double Precision. So since the last GPU projects that required just Single Precision finished last year, the card can not get an assignment. The whitelist entry will be updated at some point as it appears unlikely any new projects will be released that only require SP.

Your GPU may not be capable enough for folding - 192.0.2.1 is I believe where the AS sends the WU request under these circumstances …. I believe your GPU may not be able to do double precision floating point - you could check this at https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/ .. sorry my bad initially tagged url as image :(
