Hello,
I'm a new user and I've set up a dedicated machine running a RX 580 under Windows 10.
I keep getting this thing, which I understand is somewhat normal atm:
02:16:53:WU01:FS01:Connecting to 65.254.110.245:8080
02:16:53:WARNING:WU01:FS01:Failed to get assignment from '65.254.110.245:8080': No WUs available for this configuration
02:16:53:WU01:FS01:Connecting to 18.218.241.186:80
02:16:54:WARNING:WU01:FS01:Failed to get assignment from '18.218.241.186:80': No WUs available for this configuration
02:16:54:ERROR:WU01:FS01:Exception: Could not get an assignment
What bugs me about it though is that the client then seems to wait 3-6 hours before ever trying again. The whole point of setting up this machine was that it could run over night, without being managed. Is there any way I can force the client to retry getting a WU more frequently?
Client sits there for hours before retrying to get WU

Re: Client sits there for hours before retrying to get WU
The retry period increases exponentially, a strategy designed to protect a server returning from downtime from being instantly swamped.
When the servers are busy, shortening the retry period will likely make things worse, not better.
That said, you can rest the retry timer by pausing the slot, waiting 30s, and then Fold. Just don't do it too often.

That's what I suspected. Thanks!
