Project 16407 - low base points?

Seen a number of WUs from this project now … Has anyone else noticed a relatively low (1/3rd) rate of points production … Not as such bothered about the points, more interested in if I need to look for some deeper reason as to why my kit is bogging down on these (have checked logs and nothing looks in any way awry - not down-stepped core count or anything).

Having "dumpster dived" the logs the first WU for this project I got Project: 16407 (Run 266, Clone 0, Gen 0) ran with 250k steps and was right at the low end of what I am used to seeing TPF/PPD … The rest since then Project: 16407 (Run 452, Clone 0, Gen 1), Project: 16407 (Run 359, Clone 0, Gen 3), Project: 16407 (Run 118, Clone 0, Gen 5), Project: 16407 (Run 76, Clone 0, Gen 4) have run with 500k steps and pretty much halve those low end figures.

Just checking I should be seeing the 500k steps … In no way feels/looks like the "high millions" steps case so reckon they are just a bit tough.

I'm seeing 1/3 points on Project: 16407 (Run 427, Clone 0, Gen 1).

Code: Select all

23:14:44:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Project: 16407 (Run 427, Clone 0, Gen 1)
23:14:44:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Unit: 0x00000002a8f5c67d5e850b3fa2736e36
23:14:44:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Reading tar file core.xml
23:14:44:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Reading tar file frame1.tpr
23:14:44:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Digital signatures verified
23:14:44:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Calling: mdrun -s frame1.tpr -o frame1.trr -x frame1.xtc -cpt 15 -nt 2
23:14:44:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Steps: first=250000 total=500000
23:14:45:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Completed 1 out of 500000 steps (0%)
It looks like Gen 0 was 250K steps but Gen 1 is 500K.

Code: Select all

starting mdrun 'Protein in water'
750000 steps, 3000.0 ps (continuing from step 250000, 1000.0 ps).
Completed 10000 out of 500000 steps (2%)

Thanks for flagging, folks! The # steps issue should be resolved moving forward. My apologies!
