[macOS] Client address interference + "On Idle" setting

Hi all,
I am new to Folding@Home and have not found the answer to my question in the documentation.
I am running macOS Catalina and have a local mail client running (ProtonMail Bridge,
Code: Select all
https://protonmail.com/bridge/applemail#1
) which also takes up the 127.0.0.1 default address for F@H. Is it possible to change the F@H address? What are my alternatives and how do I proceed?
Secondly, I was unable to find the "Run when Idle" setting in the advanced controller (which I prefer to the web-based one, the latter only working on chrome which I don't use) as seen in figure 1 on this page (
Code: Select all
https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/installation-guides/configuration-guide/
). Could you point me towards it please?
Thanks a lot, and happy folding!
P.S.: sorry for posting links as codes (it is really ugly), but I don't have enough reputation to post URLs yet...

On the first, the F@h processes use port 36330 to communicate, which port(s) does ProtonMail Bridge use? I think you can change the address to another in the local address range if necessary to not conflict, but am not certain on that or the details on how many places would need that change.
For the Run on Idle in FAHControl, right-click on the folding slot and small menu will show up that has that option and ability to stop, start and finish the WU being done.

127.0.0.1 is the standard IP address for "this PC". Any number of programs can use it simultaneously without interfering with each other, as long as they use different ports. It appears that
ProtonMail Bridge uses ports 1143 & 1025 by default, so there shouldn't be any interference with F@H using port 36330. There are probably a bunch of other programs on your PC that are also using that address without you even knowing it, so it isn't something you need to worry about unless you're getting some kind of error message about it.

Thanks for that, duly noted!

Thanks for your answer jonault. So my issue at the moment is that ProtonMail is not able to send nor receive emails on my PC. This is happening since I installed F@H and is not happening when I stop F@H. I've contacted ProtonMail to see if they know something about it.
