Default Install Not Connecting on OSX Catalina 10.15.1

Hello,
I'm a new user, just ran the installer on OSX 10.15.1 Catalina. Although I see a process running called FAHClient in the Activity Monitor, the link cannot connect to my client without timing out. In the meantime it appears from FAHControl/FAHViewer that no work is happening, and all the connection stuff simply says "local."
Any idea what's going on? I would love to actually be able to run this!
