I keep getting "FahCore returned: UNKNOWN_ENUM (127 = 0x7f)" trying to start a GPU slot. Here is the log:

What drivers are you running on this Linux system? You need to be using the AMD proprietary drivers, and should be using a recent version of them.

I've installed the proprietary drivers (Video-catalyst) but I am still getting the same problem.
I am running Manjaro-XFCE 64bit (It's an Arch based distro)

Hello seatsea, welcome to the folding support forum.

Arch Linux is not one of the major 6 Linux variants supported directly by the fah client. See also the https://folding.stanford.edu/home/guide ... all-guide/.

However, there are several topics in this forum where Arch users have worked out how to get FAH running. This Folding Forum Search Link for Arch topics should help.

I've managed to get it to work, I didn't know there was a opencl-catalyst package.
Anyone else with this same problem is probably missing that pacakge, to install it, run:

I know this is an older thread, but I thought it may be worthwhile to add for anyone else that may be experiencing this problem that I was able to resolve this on my installation of Debian 8 thanks to the suggestion of seatsea.

After installing NVIDIA drivers (340.96) as directed at https://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers, I received a `UNKNOWN_ENUM (127 = 0X7f)` error every time I tried to start my GPU slot with a supported graphics card. I had to install the additional NVIDIA packages listed below (along with their dependencies) in order for the FAH Core to start successfully:
  • nvidia-opencl-common - NVIDIA OpenCL Driver
    nvidia-opencl-icd - NVIDIA OpenCL installable client driver (ICD)
    nvidia-libopencl1 - NVIDIA OpenCL ICD Loader library
