FYI - I am getting 500 Internal server error on the project description page:
http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/fah ... ned?p=6385
It says to contact root@localhost which is unlikely to get a response, so I'm posting here

Also not working the official stats:
http://folding.stanford.edu/home/teams-stats/
Or even the home page
http://folding.stanford.edu/home/
Code: Select all
Server error
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.
Error message:
Premature end of script headers: index.php
Please consult the debugging documentation at: http://www.stanford.edu/services/cgi/debugging.html
Trick or treat ... Looks like not enough sweets for the server admin

Hi,
Thanks for the info, we submitted a ticket with our network admins and now it looks like response time is back to normal. I'll be monitoring this however.

For the last three days I have been unable to use the Folding web client. I always get the following:
While perusing these forums looking for some solution, I found that I am also unable to connect to this address:
http://folding.stanford.edu
I have internet connection. I have reset my router and modem, multiple times.
It is not my firewall.
It occurs on all three of my computers on my home network.
The only changes I have made is to move two GPUs from one computer to another (for a total of 3 GPUs) and add a new GTX 970 to one computer; as well as, install the correct driver for the new GPU.
Everything worked for a few hours until I restarted a computer and this "problem loading page" began.
I am still folding just using FAHControl.exe.

Farwalker, there have been some recent problems at Stanford with any links that included folding.stanford.edu and fah-web.stanford.edu .
As you can see in the post above yours the problem is being worked on and hopefully will resume normal operations soon.
If you continue to have problems reaching Web Control ( folding.stanford.edu/client/ ) try using 127.0.0.1:7396 in the address location window of your browser which should avoid those troublesome links.
Also, please remember that the Client (Folding@home aka FAHClient) must be running before you can successfully reach the Web Control page. In earlier versions FAHControl would automatically start FAHClient but that has changed and FAHClient must be started before FAHControl or Web Control can connect. If you've set it up to automatically start folding after a Windows restart then there should be a Folding@home link in the Windows Startup folder, otherwise you have to start it manually. The Service install option won't work with GPU folding so that's an unlikely scenario.
p.s. the links involved appear to be working normally this morning

Do you mean I have to run FAHClient.exe? After I run it then I can open the Web page?
I tried and it does not work.
Copying and pasting this IP address (127.0.0.1:7396) works though. Thanks.
