I recently got a new PC, downloaded FAH, when it is placed in the systray, it won't allow me to right click to do a config or anything. I don't know who its folding for or anything. Any help appreciated.

I have it turned off for now until I get this problem figured out. TIA

This is a new one to me.... can you give us some more information? System specs, OS, client version... and can you please also check the log file to make sure that the client is actually doing something and hasn't simply hung... (not something they are known to do but its possible lol)

5.03 is not the newest version.

Do a search on your computer for FAHlog.txt... Post the contents of that file here.

What OS (Operating System)?

It is however the newest SysTray version which the Pande Group defines as stable...

My OS is Windows XP Home. It WILL NOT allow me to right click to bring any info up.

Looks like it is operating normally.

V5.03 is the graphical interface version, so you should be able to bring up the graphical screen with its configuration menu.

Your problem may be resolved as simply as changing the shortcut to the program to start in a normal window instead of minimized (right-click on the shortcut, Properties, Run: box). If you are starting by double-clicking the fah.exe file instead of using a shortcut, create a shortcut (right-click on fah.exe, Create Shortcut). When you have it working like you want, copy that shortcut to your Startup folder.

Why it won't restore the screen from the system tray is still a mystery to me, though...

I've done everything I know, I've been running FAH for a few years. Nothing works to bring the panel up when I right click. It does nothing.

Thanks and if anyone figures this out, please post here.

You had to have been able to get at the configuration screen at least once. Otherwise the log file would not show your user name and team number.

What has changed since you were last able to configure the client?

I've had this happen to me I think since I installed the 8.3 Cat drivers. Right click and double clicking on the F@H icon in the system tray stop doing anything until I restart. And I have to stop the program manually I think as well because it takes a while to shutdown during a restart which brings up that End Now or Wait buttons.

This happens to me too. It never closes, I have to do the end now button. When I first downloaded on the new PC, I put the info in. When I started having trouble, I uninstalled, the reinstalled. This is when it started.

I need to configure some stuff and I can't.

This is a new PC, Duo, with 2G and a AMD processor. It was built to my specs.

I will try un=installing and then re-install again and reboot in between. Thanks for help. I will report what happens.

ps: Hi Bruce.

Mine is a 2.8gig Penti 4, 512mb Ram, 128mb Radeon 9800. But I think the problem is with how the drivers are acting with F@H. After a restart it works like normal. For me it only happens once in a while.

At least it's not like the 8.1 drivers which ended up giving me a white box in the upper left hand corner for some reason. Before 8.1 when they included the annoying registration windows that pop up each time you restart and come back each time you update your driver (even if you have already registered) I've never had a problem with the Cat drivers.

Still no can do. I had this machine built with 2g and a duo core so I could run 2 FAH. Can't run one. Thanks for all the help. This makes me so sad.
