Been having problems trying to get a work unit. Let me know if there is any other info you need.

Anyone else see this, still a problem today for me. Wasn't a problem two days ago. No settings changed.

The message "Empty work server assignment" means that the servers were unable to find a WU that can be processed by your client. I suppose that Stanford is short of assignments for your HD 3870. It may help if you add the setting client_type advanced because that can give you a wider selection of WUs from which to choose.

Can't get NVidia GPU2 (pre-Fermi) work right now, browser gets the "OK" message from ports 80 & 8080 both. The log:

The job of the GPU Assignment Server is to redirect you to any of the Work Server which have WUs that can be assigned to your client. Currently all servers that have G80 projects are either DOWN or overloaded or out-of-work. "Empty work server assignment" it it's way of telling you it looked everywhere it could and didn't find any WUs for you. The Assignment Server is successfully doing it's job by searching for a WS (and by replying to your browser) but the list it finds is empty.

I'll see if I can rouse somebody that can do something about it, but it's still a holiday weekend until some time tomorrow morning.

Ah, forgot about Thanksgiving. Looks like I still haven't figured out how to interpret the server status page right, I honestly thought there were also Work Servers with pre-Fermi work available.

Looks good once again, I just got work for both of my pre-Fermi slots from WS 171.67.108.11 (vsp07v).
