memory clocks evga precision and gpu-z

Post by jimerickson »

evga precision reports memory clock of 1848 mhz on my gtx480's. however gpu-z reports a memory clock of 924 mhz. why the difference?

Precision is reporting the memory double data rate frequency and gpu-z is reporting the memory chip frequency.
