Keeping software current

Post by kikimarie »

As long as F@H is downloading new cores as needed, can I assume my software is up to date? Is there ever any need to download a client again as long as everything is running smoothly on the same machine I always use?

All the heavy lifing is being done by the FAH Cores, but still, it is good to update the client now and then (no less than once a year).

The cores auto-update. The client does not.

That said, the client doesn't change much.

For certain hardware changes, like a multiple core or a ATI graphics card you need to download a new client.
