Help: I keep getting assinged to server 171.64.122.137

If I enter my username in the configuration I am always assigned server 171.64.122.137 which seems to be down. If I enter something else for my username then I get assigned to a working server. Is there a way to reset which server I am assigned to? Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the Foldingforum, chodaboy19.
First, I've never seen a situation where entering a specific name had anything to do with the server being assigned. Which client are you using and how are you configuring the name? Are you using special characters or just numbers/letters/underscore.
Server 171.64.122.137 is, indeed down so being assigned to it is clearly a problem.
Have you found FAHlog.txt? If so, it would probably be helpful if you pasted it into your next post. If not, we'll help you find it.

How are you changing the name? You should be using -config rather than editing one of the files. If you've been editing it, delete client.cfg entirely and restart the client, being sure to use the -smp flag.

Yes, I am using the -configonly flag to change the name and test the download of the work units.
I have tried deleting everything and re-downloading the client, but if I enter the username "chodaboy19" I always get assigned to this particular server.
Same thing happens on my PS3, I can download the work units fine except when I enter the particular username. I am lost as to the reason behind this... Is there a way to reset that username somehow?

There is a known FAH trojan that assigns points to the name "chodaboy19". This donor name was banned some time ago due to this. Looking at the logs, that trojan is still alive.
Unfortunately, the only course of action here is for you to pick a different donorname. I'm sorry about this, but this is one of the cases where one person's action ruins the experience for another and we have to try to do what's best for the reputation of the project (i.e. banning trojans).
