I've a WU thats been sitting around for a few days now, and it still not being accepted/ transmitted back to the servers see below.

I have control & C'd to close and restart this over 6 times now.
Other WU have joined the queue and then been uploaded. Have you any idea about this one. The latest attempt was just a few minutes ago, I have also rebooted the pc on two occasions to se if this sorts itself out. Deadline may be past but thats not my concern here

I doubt that there's anything you can or should do differently. The server seems to be operating normally, but I didn't research it's history;

Please find the Program Run Clone Gen numbers for that WU and if possible, an approximate download date-time.

Thanks. Unfortunately the places that they let me check doesn't give any clues about what's going on in this particular case.

Well I've now lost 4WUs that failed to upload within the deadline and have deleted them.

As this is a recent problem and I've not changed any settings other than my team number (changes after the problem started) I'm unsure what to do!

Currently I have 2 WUs that have not been sent back. I suppose what I'm looking for is an idea or suggestion, just looking for a straw or two to clutch :(

I'm a bit upset with myself over this, as I think I have resolved it and have lost 4 WU that I could have saved!

After thinking and looking around, asking questions on forums and getting no positive ideas, I checked out my system Internet connection and modem.

The connection speed had dropped off by 75% or so.

I suspect the server was timing out my attempts to upload
I've swooped modems and the uploads went right up the pipe with no problems, so........................

Is their a minimum connection speed required for the servers?
Will they time out?
Why did the GPU WU transmit OK and not the A3 units?

I can't answer your questions directly.

Most GPU WUs are significantly smaller than most SMP WUs. Certainly they're uploading to diffrent servers which probably have different demands for internet traffic and possibly different timeout criteria. I do suspect that the servers still support 56kb dial-up modems, though the chances of staying on-line long enough to upload one of the bigger results files is very slim.

Thats fine bruce :) I appreciate you replying

I should have picked up on it before it got this far, but work and other commitments left little time over the last few days, I was off yesterday so had the time to spend resolving/asking for help and Googling around on the subject.

My issue is resolved and its something I will remember and will be on my list of things to check before I go asking for help :)

Hopefully others may get some help from this as well.
