I just right now ran into a crash on this WU.

Here's the relevant part of my log:

Code: Select all

[05:30:31] *------------------------------*
[05:30:31] Folding@Home Gromacs SMP Core
[05:30:31] Version 2.19 (Mar 12, 2010)
[05:30:31]
[05:30:31] Preparing to commence simulation
[05:30:31] - Looking at optimizations...
[05:30:31] - Created dyn

[05:30:32] Called DecompressByteArray: compressed_data_size=1797980 data_size=2392545, decompressed_data_size=2392545 diff=0
[05:30:32] - Digital signature verified
[05:30:32]
[05:30:32] Project: 6015 (Run 1, Clone 236, Gen 75)
[05:30:32]
[05:30:32] Assembly optimizations on if available.
[05:30:32] Entering M.D.
[05:30:38] Completed 0 out of 500000 steps (0%)
[05:30:38] Gromacs cannot continue further.
[05:30:38] Going to send back what have done -- stepsTotalG=500000
[05:30:38] Work fraction=-1.#IND steps=500000.
[05:31:05] CoreStatus = FF (255)
The delay before the final line is where I clicked OK to a Windows pop up message telling me FahCore_a3.exe had crashed. Pretty odd: I don't think I've ever gotten a crash pop up from an FAH console client before.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I've got a Core 2 Quad Q6600 overclocked to 3.2GHz, running on Vista 64-bit.

I had a mod mark it as bad.
