Server does not take a ready WU

Post by JeansOn »

Hallo,

I have tried to upload a ready unit Project: 6318 (Run 1949, Clone 58, Gen 0) since January 24th.

But there is always the same message and I think there are any other errors than I read after using the search-function.

Hello Bruce,
thank you for your reply.

I start my F@H Clients manually by desktop-icon.
I tried to upload without PC-Firewall / Antivirus (I'm working behind a router)
There are further downloads and uploads well done. But it might be interested, there are just two further clients running with a 6318 Project. I get them one after the other. :-) or :-/ I don't know in this moment. ^^

I think there is a problem between the server and the WU -> Project: 6318 (Run 1949, Clone 58, Gen 0)
Perhaps a missing record in db?

and I have an other, 6318-WU 80% finished
I think, I'll better cancel new 6318-WUs in future.

Does anyone has an idea what I can do? mail-adress for problems? A secret mail-adress for such a problem? :D :D

It's never better to cancel WUs. It'll hurt the project more than waiting for someone to fix the server (which is probably being worked on since it's going online and offline alternatively in the past two days).

There's nothing you can do but wait ...

I fear, you are right,toTOW.

But I remember I had read that it is better for the project I reach the prefered time. After that time there are only the points ...
My first WU I can not send became ready at January 24th. In several days I'll finish it by deleting. It is lost project power. I write about it - others don't.

Of course it's better for the project if you can meet the preferred deadline. I'm certain that the guys that are trying to fix the server know that, too, but until they complete whatever they're doing, there's nothing at all that any of us can do . . . except to be patient.

Thank you, bruce, AgrFan.

My new experience is, I'm not alone in this forum. I bookmarked the posted link, it's easier for me in future to find the right / better place. The error-message is an other now. I think the guys are working. I'll post the link in my team forum (it is PCGamesHardware). My sons are folding in that team too.
