My questions are:
1. The file to be uploaded is waiting for success since 24th of January; is it worthwhile to try to get it uploaded anymore?
2. Will changing to client v6 give any problems, knowing there is a WU waiting to be uploaded?
3. Where can I find v6 for Vista?
Yes, you should upgrade to the latest client. There's a "Client Download" link at the top of this page.
4. Is the console version more efficient than the system tray version?
Many thanks in advance for helping me!
The real work is not done by the client but rather by a FahCore program which is downloaded and started by the client. Both clients use the same FahCores so the efficiency is identical. The only exception is if you run a viewer with 3D images because it uses a significant amount of processing time -- and doesn't work very well anyway.

Sorry to ask again: The file to be uploaded is still waiting for success since 24th of January; is it worthwhile to try to get it uploaded anymore?

I don't have any way to know. If it were my WU, I'd leave it just like it is and let the system worry about it. It will retry periodically and may get through but it's not always easy to determine why something doesn't upload.
Did you go through the steps listed here? viewtopic.php?f=18&t=151

Hm. I started Systray version. I think I cannot start the v5.04 again and set the log to verbose, what's suggested in your link given. Thank you, by the way
