I am currently writing some code to parse the summary files and noticed that there is some malformed records. also is there any plans in the future to include more client information so that more detail analysis can be done? (such as contribution by region using geo ip info, architecture and client types)

Yes, make sure that your parser code is robust against unexpected content of the file.

Note that the advice is to use the JSON outputs instead of the HTML files : http://assign.stanford.edu/api/project/summary

It appears that the stats server has stopped updating. The last update occurred at 2:00 PST.

2:00 AM PDT is when most persons are asleep, the stats were back to being updated about the same time you posted. That is still very early in the morning.

Looks like the Stats server is down again (well, it is a weekend ... )

Looooots points on Monday ... under the assumption they not get lost (which they normally not doing)

So much for the new server of several months ago fixing the crashes.
