Is the project out of work?
There is plenty of work for Intel-based Macs (and Linux) which have upgraded to the v6.29 client.
There is currently a WU shortage for both PPC based hardware and for Intel-based Linux/OS-X machines running an earlier client version. I'm not sure when either of these shortages will be resolved. The SMP projects that have been based on FahCore_a1 and FahCore_a2 are being phased out in favor of FahCore_a3 and it requires V6.29 or later. For the PPC, a resolution is more complicated.

My Intel mac is working again.
Was able to get WU this morning.
Ironically the WU I picked up is using the a1 core not a3.
I am running the v6.29 client.

One of my PC (Athlon X2) has nothing to do since yesterday 17:20 UTC.
Configuration is v6.29, smp, big, 3705, advmethods=yes
Server for last WU was 171.64.65.64 but it seems overloaded.
And serveur 171.64.65.56 seems to not have available WU.
Another one will have finished in 1 hour.

Well, I just started SMP2 and so far I have only finished 6 WUs. I have to try at least 5 times to get a WU and sometimes it can take up to 12 Hours to get the WU. I have -advmethods and passkey and enabled large WUs. I am just hoping that by the end of this month, the shortages of a3 WUs will be over.

I have it from a reliable source that several new SMP projects are coming online very shortly. We'll be busy for months.

Oh no!! Watch that wording 7im. Shortly around here can mean 6 months to a year.

Yes, but I included the modifier "very" which reduces that time frame substantially.
