all the machines I had set to "BIG-WU" & "ADV", but they are out of work since last weekend, is it the machines, the intranet, or the isp? is it server has no works? dame, I am too lazy and dumb to find out

Are you saying you have -bigadv set plus -advmethods? If so, remove the -advmethods flag and see if it helps.

Also, recheck that your configuration settings are "big" rather than "small" or "normal"

Updating to v6.23 wouldn't hurt.

It has already been fixed. From the time in the log that you posted, the Stanford campus was operating on very limited power and most of the servers were down.
