Looks like things are going belly-up again, I have a couple of clients that finished yesterdays work & now cannot get work. Changing clients configs does not help.
Does Stanford still have networking problems?

Seems like it!
Nothing to do but sit back & wait. Well there's also switching to another DC project, but I
LIKE this one too much to switch!

We'll look into this, but could you give us more information? In particular, what client (SMP, GPU, regular), what settings, memory, etc are you using? Please give us as much info as you can. Many people are getting WUs just fine, so this is strange.

PS I think we found the problem. You should be able to get an assignment now. The issue was a strange one involving a particular combination of flags (adv & bigWU) and the lack of servers for that combo and the fallback logic not quite working.

PS SidVicious: I just saw your assign go through and fail (although everyone else is fine). I made another change which will take about 20 min to update in the system. If that doesn't work, you could make your settings more vanilla (i.e. no bigWU, etc).

Thanks, I didn't have any luck switching from big to normal WUs, I just dropped the advanced WU, we'll see how it goes...

Getting weirder now, changed machine ID to 8, removed the -SMP flag and got a 6318 Great Red Oystrich (note the typo), all 4 cores being used by FahCore_78.exe
*Edit #1* Bleh, what a waste of time, getting a bit over 100ppd per core after 2% (and yes, FahCore_78.exe was using all four cores out of my Q6600), I switched the -smp flag back on, changed machine ID back to 1, tried a combination of small / normal / big WU & adv WU on and off, the ASSignement server stubbornly insist on being just that
*Edit #2* GAH! I did an OS repair late on Friday night, the uniprocessor HAL was used instead of the multiprocessor HAL, everything is fine now, sorry about that !

I'm getting the same problem here. My problem is that I can only upload and download when I take this laptop to the library. If I can't get a new project downloaded soon, it may be a few days before I get back to the library.
