There is an update on the stats server on the folding news page. The bottom line looks like they are on it but it may take a while for the stats to be up to date.

Well the update is complete now hopefully it is able to recover all of the completed WU's turned in I got credit for 2 out of around 40 so right at the moment things arent looking too promising.

By the time they find all the stuff that's off, hopefully they'll realize it was more than just overnight. All you need to do is look at the team updates for some of the more productive teams to realize that.

Certain work servers were failing at turning over points before the whole stats update system went down. Haven't gotten one point in a day and a half now. Before this glitch, 4500-5000+ PPD.

Hi all - an update

Stats look like they are now processing - Kakao has just run its latest update not all the points are there but it looks like progress is being made. As Vijay says it may take a while for them all to process

Thanks to others for this thread. I've been watching it since I too suffer from foldemus statemus not updateus. I've seen a few updates from some of my GPU clients, but the vast majority of my GPU and SMP units are not updating reliably even now (14:22:33 November 12, 2009 PDT). Fortunately it is only a stats update issue and not lost work. We'll get the credits eventually.

A prior poster commented that the update is complete. He may have been referring to just the latest stats update. At any rate, the complete updates for all the stats over the last 2 days or so won't be done for several days. Quoting directly from the folding news:

The missed data is backed up on another machine and we can re-enter it. However, we typically take a couple of days to re-enter it, to make sure it is done right.

So, the bottom line is that the stats system is back up, will we recredit some missing WUs not credited over the night, but this will take a couple of days to complete. Sorry for the delay on the recredit, but it's good to make sure we do it right, rather than in a rush.

They evidently do not check it much, like you say look at the stats. It went off sometime between the 9am and 3pm update CDT yesterday. That would be what 7am and 1pm there time? I am also missing a few hundred thousand points...

I'm curious see what sort of hardware mix you have and the motivation for folding because you're doing some serious folding! Nice to meet you.

I dont have one, I have been folding since 2003 with different teams finally just said to heck with it and made my own team. I am running 8-i7s right now, 4-Q6600s, a couple dual cores, a GTX 295, 3-GTS 250s, 2-8800GT. Waiting on some cold weather then I am going to crank up some rigs...

Yes, they're getting the WUs.

Wrong about not updating -- that has been fixed and updates are including new WUs.

But some WUs which were received during the downtime have not yet seen their points added into the totals.

The missed data is backed up on another machine and we can re-enter it. However, we typically take a couple of days to re-enter it, to make sure it is done right.

Thanks for the info, mine seem to be slowly catching up.
Still it was just the stats, at least work was still happening and that's the main thing.
