I am now successful to folding.
(1) uninstall F@H
(2) Delete /Library/'Application Support'/FAHClient/
This is the point: Deleting subfolders such as ./FAHClient/Cores does not seem sufficient.
(3) Install FAH (fah-installer_7.6.13_x86_64.pkg dated on April 27, 2020)

You dont find it .. the client does .. when the cores files and hung WU are deleted the client will download the correct core as/when it is needed
