A lot of the reports of redirection to 192.0.2.1 come from systems running OS-X attempting to force FAH to fold on GPUs in spite of the lack of support for OpenCL GPUs. (I have not researched if that's the only cause for that message.) Maybe we can convince somebody to display an UNSUPPORTED message from 192.0.2.1

Technically speaking, this is a legitimate addrress which could be on your LAN. It doesn't belong to Windows or Apple. The unanswered question is why is it appearing when the GPU you've attempted to configure is unsupported.

The GPU is supported based on Device ID but OS X is not. When the client requests work, the assignment server sends it to an invalid work server IP address. It's a layer of protection to prevent clients from downloading work units and then failing to download an OS X GPU core in an infinite loop.

Good idea... and it should be accompanied by an error message "GPU not supported"

You might have to re-install the latest drivers from Nvidia. The issue is reported here:
