Your posting still does not include the necessary information. It starts with about 20 lines and then shows a segment called
03:13:06:******************************* System ********************************
followed with some really important information about your system and your initial configuration.

See below.

Ah Ha! you have a AMD Ryzen APU named 2200G, which has an integrated GPU.

As a general rule integrated GPUs are not fast enough to fold, so are disabled. (I just searched this forum, and folks ARE folding on a 2200G, both CPU and GPU)

(It has 512 shaders at 1.1 Ghz)

It looks like they want you to set a configuration in the client. (Again searching this forum finds this thread, with a solution viewtopic.php?f=106&t=30836 )

Yes, but I have the AMD vid card, and bios shows it running that card. So the built in graphics should be disabled.

Post the FIRST couple of hundred lines of FAH's log. It will show the initial detection of your hardware, including the versions of OpenCL associated with each GPU. If there is no OpenCL recognized by the R7 370 recognized during FAH's initialization AND if you happen to have an iGPU that's fast enough to be recognized by FAH AND if it happens to recognize a supported version of OpenCL, then you might get the conditions you're reporting. Unfortunately this is guesswork since you didn't post that segment of the log.

I've already said that and you have not responded. Why are you being so difficult?

The log in questions starts with something like this and I need to see the SYSTEM section which follows, plus your config.

bruce, I did respond and posted everything in my log after a fresh install of the client and control. I started the client and waited 5 minutes. I then opened "Log" on the app and right click>select all>copy. I posted the results here. If it doesn't show what you are looking for I have no idea why. Not trying to be difficult.

But we don't have to worry about that now. I removed the AMD card and put in an old GeForce 650Ti card I had. I installed the nvidia drivers and not am folding on that card. Guess I'll stay away from AMD cards on Linux!!!

My thanks to everyone that tried to hel. :)

If you look at the signature block of my first post, you'll find instructions on how to post the log.

You can either find the file on your system or you can view the file in FAHControl. Apparently you're using the latter method.

Press the REFRESH button and scroll to the top. The display of the log in FAHControl is intentionally truncated/filtered unless you refresh it.

When you alter the configuration of your GPUs you have to reinstall FAHClient, If your NVidia GPU is working, that explains why your AMD was NOT working. The NVidia drivers were still being recognized by FAH and the AMD GPU won't work with those drivers.

I'm not sure this was the problem. This was a fresh build with a new unused SSD drive that I put a clean install of mint 19.2 Cinnamon on. It had an AMD card in it from the start. The only time an nvidia card was put in (and nvidia drivers installed) was after I gave up on the AMD driver problem. So how could the nvidia drivers have caused a problem with the AMD?

Anyway, it's up and running which is what I needed. Again, thanks to all. :)
