Hardware configuration: Intel i7-4770K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR3-2133 Corsair Vengence (black/red), EVGA GTX 760 @ 1200 MHz, on an Asus Maximus VI Hero MB (black/red), in a blacked out Antec P280 Tower, with a Xigmatek Night Hawk (black) HSF, Seasonic 760w Platinum (black case, sleeves, wires), 4 SilenX 120mm Case fans with silicon fan gaskets and silicon mounts (all black), a 512GB Samsung SSD (black), and a 2TB Black Western Digital HD (silver/black).

But make sure you run 10 regular -smp work units successfully first before running -bigadv, so you qualify for your bonus quicker :)

@k1wi, with -smp 10 set, does that mean it is going to complete 10 WUs at the same time?

I am currently at 87% since I started the SMP console client.

Also, I am using my same user name but I added a passkey with the SMP client, will my stats be found in the same location?

It does one work unit about 10 times faster :) Well or a ten times larger work unit in the same time!

your stats will still be under your username, but it is more secure (as you can know that your points are yours only).

. . . so let's assume the WUs are the same size (which they won't be, but it's easier to understand). After you complete 10 WUs you will have completed the same quantity of work as 10 uniprocessor clients using essentially the same resources . . . but each of those 10 WUs will have been completed 10x faster. The scientific value of the work you complete is based both on quantity and speed, and that 10X faster is really an important factor that many people overlook.
