Problems connecting to forum site

Over the last couple of days, I have experienced problems connecting to this site, but only during evening hours (Eastern Canada/US Time). The home page just times out and doesn't load. I have confirmed this issue from both my home and office location, which different ISPs.

I am wondering is there is a reason for this (server maintenance), or if other have had the same problems?

We've had reported problems with the routers at singlehop but nobody has been able to get them to find/fix the problem. This discussion probably is the same issue:

It does appear to be the same issue, given that the last post on that thread was on December 30th, I had thought the problem was a new one.

I will post ping and tracert details from the next time I encounter the problem.
