I threw a couple of EUEs on the new WU.
Anyone having issues with the new 5200 series WU for the GPU client? I have one machine that I may need to take down and rework. I suspect a weak power supply but want to eliminate the software end before diagnosing the hardware end.

Re: 52xx GPU WU
No one was able to complete any of these WU ... I only see EUEs and 0 points credits.
There's might be a problem with the WU ... I've asked Dan to look at them.

We've backed off all the new 52xx except 5214 which appears to be working well.

Re: 52xx GPU WU
So far, my 8800GTS G92 has been given 5206, 5208, 5209, 5210, 5211 & 5212. Of those, 5208, 5209 and 5212 resulted in EUEs, but the rest were completed successfully. Although, it appears that my card struggles with them a bit compared to the 50xx series of WUs, because it chews through them at a much slower rate (about 2000 PPD slower). Not to mention, my card runs a lot hotter with the 52xx series of WUs. With my fan set to auto, it tops out at about 62-63 degrees with 50xx series WUs, with the fan at about 60%. But with 52xx WUs, it gets up to 67-68 degrees, with the fan running at about 70%.

PS We have adv clients doing the non-P5214 WU's right now so they get some more testing and QA.VijayPande wrote:We've backed off all the new 52xx except 5214 which appears to be working well.
