If you pause folding before restarting your PC, FAH will not fold upon restart.

Its the way I prefer❤️
I don't get this. You are willing to play around with flags, when there is no reason to do this.
With V8, I guess there was, since it usually takes 30s or so for your pause to be written into the config. But with V8 issues doesn't exist anymore. You click pause, and reboot the system. Pause will be saved instantaneously with V8.
You are welcome to raise a ticket in V8 GitHub for dev to add an option within the fahclient to tick where it would pause upon restart regardless of you paused or didn't before reboot.

As for the stats on 7.6.21, they have always worked for me when using advanced control, and work hit and miss with the web control. Since I very rarely used the web control, I never bothered to troubleshoot it. But going back 3 or 4 years web control was sketchy for me, at least when using Chrome.

Don't make me go to Discord and find all the reasons you hated V8 at first too!

But in either case, people just like what they like. I haven't used any of the V8 versions since the earlier days, but like the combo of V7 and HFM better. Until some of the logs and flags make more sense, I'd rather stick with what I know how to work better.

I had my battles with dev about v8, and it is what it is right now because of this. My discord comments don't cover even 1% of what I thought about v8 in the beginning even before it was released.
But you adapt and work for the bigger picture and greater good, make sacrifices and get the best outcome you can get without being banned from testing :D

v8 what is today is day and night from v8 what was in the very beginning and even 8.3

Having seen everything from v8.1 to the current v8.4, there is a lot present that was not there even in v8.3. The v8.4 Web Control interface is much more configurable, and provides a lot of WU tracking features. The default settings are a bit barebones for displaying current WU info, but additional fields can be added.
