Recovering an old account

Post by Robob »

Hello everyone, I have my original account (Robob) passkey and access to the sign up email account (same as forum account). But I have not folded in 8+ years, this newer client now errors when trying to log in with my email/passkey. There is no config file I can find locally to just paste my passkey and team number into.

The website for passkey just gives Error:Error with my email/passkey entered. But it would still let me create a new name and generate a new key with the same email.

If there is a way to recover my original name with the 500+ completed WU that would be cool, or if there is a way to manually enter it like the old days, let me know. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Passkey is not a password or passphrase.
You need to create/register a new account via the web control. See user guide on download page.

Thank you for the reply, I now understand the difference how this new client is configured differently than the old stuff I was used to.
Thanks again for the help!
