Sneakernetting between ATI/NVidia

I guess I probably have the answer to this. Really bad idea right? The project descriptions seem to say that they are not interchangeable.
Out of curiosity, what would happen if you moved one WU to another?

It's not possible : the cores are different, and the WU are different too ...

This is not true, the GPU2 WUs will run on every GPU2 capable platform. The FAH core files are different, but the FAH GPU2 core functionality is still the same. Everything will be OK, as long as you have proper GPU2 core for your GPU2 WU.

I'm not sure running p5xxx WU on the ATI core (or running p47xx WU on the nVidia core) will return valid results ... (we need to ask dan about this)

Again, let's not complicate the beta testing and validation processes by sneakernetting work units, loading hacked drivers, hacked clients, etc. Thanks.
