The Ubuntu focal fossa 20.04.01, with folding at home with AMD RX5700XT.

Is good option?

Go for 18.04 if you're just starting out. The FAHControl bugs aren't ironed out yet on anything past 18.10 (which is also no longer supported).
I think the RX5700XT is close to an RTX2060 in PPD, if I'm not mistaken.

FAH Control is possible install, because the version 7.7 have python 3. Only works the cpu.

you may well also need the opencl dev drivers and iirc adding to the video group?
