Help with removing FAH software

Post by Rgnar »

Good morning, i am trying to remove the FAH software from a computer here at work. Before anyone starts flipping out about the cause i know what it is and appreciate it, but the computer i am tying to remove it from is controlling a CNC piece of equipment and is slowing the machines production down as well as crashing the software that needs to run on it. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

James

The user who installed it should have written permission from the owner to install it, so they might be banned from the project if they didn't. Or perhaps you were just using it while the CNC equipment was shut down for the shutdown.

If it is a Windows machine, just run the Uninstall program. More info here: https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/i ... uninstall/

FINISH the current WU if possible, shut down the app, and either run the uninstall.exe or delete the client and data folders.

Some do. Though I have heard of ones still currently running but based on Win 2000 or XP still.
