The card itself is whitelisted and known. Which client version do you have installed? Could you please post the first 200 lines of your log?

Also: What have you done to add the card?

*edit* Ive just noticed this is a RTX 2060 with TU104. For TU104 there is no entry as RTX 2060, also 2070 and 2080. Not sure if thats a problem though. If yes, this thread might be for you.

I can pull the log when I get home, but folding is not generating a "gpu.txt" file at all. So I can neither modify, nor find it.

Version is latest from the site, and I've tried adding a slot as normal and it simply doesn't add it when you click save. I've tried restarting my PC, folding, ect... and it still isn't detected.

If there is no entry for TU104 then it might still need to be whitelisted.

I just replaced my 390x with the 2060, but a clean install was done so there shouldn't be any kind of driver/brand conflict.

The card is already whitelisted, the device ID is in the GPUs.txt file:

Code: Select all

0x10de:0x1e89:2:7:TU106-200A [GeForce RTX 2060]
No need for an entry saying TU104.

If you installed the 7.6.9 version of the client, you will probably need to download the GPUs.txt file and put it into place. Then restart the FAHClient or reboot, then add the GPU slot. This is a known issue with this version.

Or try the 7.6.10 beta - https://foldingathome.org/beta/

No need for an entry saying TU104.

If you installed the 7.6.9 version of the client, you will probably need to download the GPUs.txt file and put it into place. Then restart the FAHClient or reboot, then add the GPU slot. This is a known issue with this version.

Or try the 7.6.10 beta - https://foldingathome.org/beta/
It will not let me save into the folder. The folder is set as "read only" and changing it does nothing as it reverts back.

I will try the beta.

Update, beta allows me to add a GPU slow although it shows as TU106 and not 104.

No, it wasn't the beta setting. It's a problem with the new 7.6.x FAHClient and the restart generally fixes it.
