So would you say its just down to no WU being assigned ? or is something still incorrectly configured?

This doesn't look like the usual logs for a lack of WUs … It looks like something may be interrupting/blocking the attempted connections, hence why people keep asking if there is a firewall style issue … Is it your own network or is it a company one - something at router level rather than windows level might produce the same effect.

Thanks everyone for there help, it has just started working, not sure what was causing it to not start before but its up and running now, only thing is I have both my CPU and GPU running and my CPU has already finished one task/project but I still have 0 points? do they take time to deposit or something?

https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/points/ explains the points system, including QRB and what you need to do to get this - The client and logs estimate points including a QRB - if you have not qualified for it the points will be the base points for the project https://apps.foldingathome.org/psummary ... As to stats system it can take some time (days, even weeks rather than second or minutes) for them to show up in the stats pages.
