Welcome to foldingforum.org, togmuhoni
||We need to know more about your system. Please post the first few pages of FAH's log.txt (see below)
At this point, I might guess that you are attempting to run FAH on Windows. I also might guess that you have not updated your video drivers to the version provided by the manufacturer of the GPU. I'll refine my guesses when I see the log.

For the drivers:

But your log here is not really helpful. There should be a part describing your hardware. You'll find a wealth of information here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036

Re: Always in idle mode
Thank you for your answer. My computer which I'm testing is a dell latitude E7240. The graphic card is an Intel
Re: Always in idle mode
Then you can ignore the graphic aspect - only nVIDIA and AMD GPU can fold. FAH requires certain specific computing capabilities that are not included in all GPU models. But you can fold with your CPU.
For the idle mode, you'll find instructions here: https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/hel ... te-your-pc

Re: Always in idle mode
Thank you.
I read that I must put an option in the CPU section in the configuration of the client when I'm in the advanced mode. But I didn't find wich option I must put to determine the delay after which the idle "stop"

Re: Always in idle mode
Where do you read that? (I'm not doubting you, I just have no experience with laptops.)
EDIT: The only option I can think of in the Client Advanced Control is a check box you can use to have the client paused when your laptop is on battery. When this is what you are thinking of, open the Client Advanced Control, click Configure, then the Advanced tab. This option is under Power.

Re: Always in idle mode
I don't find any solution to use the idle. So I found another solution.
The goal is to stop the job when a user is connecting on the computer. So, I write 2 dos scripts,
the first execute the following command with GPEDIT.msc in the opening of the session of the user :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\FAHClient\FAHClient.exe" --send-pause
this command put all the jobs in pause
In the end of the session, the system execute the following command :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\FAHClient\FAHClient.exe" --send-unpause
to unpause all the job
So, my probelm is solved
Thank you
