F@h is like a game of Battleship

Post by florinandrei »

How I explain F@h to non-technical users:

F@h is like a game of Battleship. You take a shot, watch for clues, re-adjust, take another shot, and so on.

The enemy battleship is out there. If we take enough shots, WE WILL HIT IT.

Every new user who installs the app gives us extra shots each turn.

I consider it as a relay race with lots of rounds.
Only when you finish your round the next one can start (because: only when your WU is finished, the following WU will be created).
Therefore don't be a slow runner, don't pause while running and give the best you can while it's your turn otherwise the team will take forever to finish the race.

You can also use pictures. It's a relay race, but it's a marathon, and we're collectively building something like this:

Now imagine that instead of a single protein, we're looking at potential drugs interacting with the Wuhan Coronavirus.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.
