I installed the client on my Mac and it worked for a few days. Now I get the following message:
Connecting to your Folding@home client. . . 0sec
And no connection.
Mac info:
macOS: 10.15.3 (19D76)
How do I figure out what's wrong and get it working again?
Can't fold

Re: Can't fold
The web browser will connect to the software clients running in the background on your Mac. So when you see that, the underlying software components don't seem to be running. I'm not that familiar with MacOS, but that's the reason.
Did you change any settings in F@h recently?

F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.

Re: Can't fold
I have run into an issue with using Web Control on Safari, changing https in the URL to http gets it to connect. You may have to refresh once or twice to get it to load. FAHControl should also be usable, it is in the Folding@home folder in the Applications folder.

Does not work for me in safari (never connects)
In Brave, with all Shields down I get a constant page refresh.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Folding@Home app.
I'd love to run this to help, but this isn't looking promising.

Re: Can't fold
o.k. update:
If I use a Private window in Brave things do work. However, I have individually deactivated all extensions and it makes no difference.
Safari doesn't work in a regular window or a Private window.

Is Brave based on Chromium? There is a general problem recent versions of Chrome and other browsers built on Chromium since Google made some changes a few months ago. Some workarounds have been collected and are listed in the FAQ - viewtopic.php?f=24&t=32463
