I've been chewing through a GPU work unit for five hours. I paused and then exited out of FAH for the night. The next day I start up the computer again to finish the unit, and it's gone, like it never existed, and in addition, I can't even get a new one.

You're probably also seeing error messages like "No WUs available for this configuration". if so, this is a common error message right now, as the servers are currently slammed due to the very fast rise in the number of people helping out with Folding@home. They are currently exhausting workunits faster than they are being made available. The research teams are rapidly setting up new servers to keep up with demand and putting new projects (including the WuFlu/COVID-19) into the queue, so hopefully this will resolve soon. I'd recommend just leaving everything online and your software should pick up work when it is available.

Your computer probably picked up another one. It's also possible that it couldn't resume and just started over. The log entries should give you some indication about what happened there.

I can't interpret anything from this with regards to being unable to resume the same work unit.

Not sure if it is a problem with your OpenCL support install, or a corrupted WU. Possibly, did Windows Update install any updated video drivers? Their driver update does not include OpenCL, and can sometimes remove it when installing an updated driver.

No Windows update did not install any updated video drivers. I installed the drivers directly from Nvidia's website yesterday. And I was able to process through the work unit for about 5 hours yesterday, so it's probably not an incompatibility. The problem is I'm unable to access it now, and I'd be disappointed if I'd have to start over on a whole other work unit, only for that unit to be terminated before I could finish processing. I've never had this issue before, and I've been folding for FAH for years now.
