Browser page keeps refreshing

Hi,

I installed FAH a couple of hours ago, and went to the folding at home browser page: client .foldingathome .or g/

(spaces added because the forum won't let me post links)

Other than that my computer wasn't working on anything, it seemed to be generally working as intended. I restarted my computer a little while later, and then reopened page. For some reason, the page now continuously refreshes and seems unable to determine what hardware I have.

Known issue with Chrome and recent versions of Opera, there are some workarounds posted here, a search on Chrome should turn them up.

Firefox and Edge have been reported to work.

Hi, i ve got the same problem, also with chrome and some times write me "Bad gateway"

Someone has also posted that Chrome Incognito mode works with Web Control.

I"m seeing the same thing. I installed the software on my iMac, and it's been working. But I also installed it on my MacBook Pro, and I'm getting the refreshing page.

EDIT: But I loaded client.foldingathome.org in incognito mode and the screen seems to work.

I managed to get it working on Firefox, so there's that at least

On windows pc in lower right find the folding at home icon (expand if needed), right click and select advanced control.

I can confirm that opening the Developer Tools (F12) stops the refreshing for the current (Chrome-) Browser instance.

Use Incognito Mode for the client tab, you will never have the problem again. Its probably some sort of temporary cache generated error, but incognito mode does not use cached versions of websites.
