Yeah, I'm having the same issues, it keeps failing to get an assignment for both my GPU computers.

This is an ongoing problem, and not isolated to .231. I have 3 GPUs drying up across multiple servers. Was running fine a few days ago, then started having trouble getting work units.

Thank you for making it an announcement, bruce!
My CPUs are also now going idle.
So, I'm going to temporarily switch my resources back to BOINC for a bit (so my resources don't go idle!)
But please make sure to reply to the announcement or post a new one, once things have stabilized and work is available for GPU and CPU, here.

They do appear to be adding new work units, but I think they are getting snapped up as soon as they appear (kind of like toilet paper these days). I have one GPU that downloaded a new WU about 25 minutes ago, and another one that got a WU about 100 minutes ago. A third GPU has been sitting idle all day, but it just now hit the jackpot as I was typing up this reply & started downloading. I have a 4th GPU that's just about to finish a WU it's been cranking on for the last 6.5 hours, hopefully it will get a new one.

In addition to the donated server time mentioned above, several other supporters pushed out notices within the last 24-48 hours and many individuals have joined F@h. Assignment rate is currently nearly 100,000 WU's per hour, it was peaking at around 120,000.

Nice to see the issue really is there are no GPU based WO left lol. I have 13 GPUs, (6x GPU + 6x GPU and one more single), and dedicated 7 to this along with numerous CPUs, (i7 and Xeons).

This just happened to me, and posting for others who find this by searching for the IP.

Edit 2*: toTOW responded viewtopic.php?p=312968#p312968 mentioning that work generation is higher priority than serving work, and the errors of connection does not mean there is an issue as it's likely generating work units.

This looks exactly like the problems addressed here: Subject: Temporary server outages

When I open http://140.163.4.231 from here, that connection fails. I do not have a firewall blocking that connection so I conclude that the severer is currently off-line or simply too busy to respond.

Give that the server adimins are frantically trying to provide enouh resoruces to supply work to the surfeit of new members brought on by the many public advertisements, ltt's see if they make progress in the near term.
