Good day. I've started folding again since the announcement of F@H versus the Covid-19. OS of choice is Windows 10 & I got no problem using the CPU+GPU Clients on my machine. But I have some PCs w/ AMD GPUs that I can't configure to fold, only the processor folds. I was browsing the threads here, before registering but still no luck in configuring. My lack of original Windows 10 OS forces me to run a Linux OS as an alternative.
Planned 5 Units PC Specs (Gist):
*Zorin OS 15.2 (w/ kernel 5.3.0.40 | Mesa 19.2.8; Ubuntu-Debian derivative as I was told)
*AMD Ryzen Processors (assorted; R5 1600 | 2400G)
*AMD GPUs (assorted; RX5700, RX580)
Hoping someone can help. Looking forward to fight Covid-19 thru Folding. Much thanks also to the devs, testing-partners & the whole circle of the fold.

Re: Need Help Folding AMD GPU on Linux
Both your listed GPUs should fold with drivers straight from AMD, they may need a separate OpenCL install step.
I am not a linux user, but there are 'open source' drivers that don't do OpenCL, only the AMD drivers are consistent.

You want the Pro Stack, especially for the RX5700.

Re: Need Help Folding AMD GPU on Linux
ok, thanks sir.
atm, i ran some hiccup (white screen of death, lolz!) installing amdgpu pro v19.5 (for the opencl api) required by f@h program to enable amd gpu folding.
steps i got from reading site threads from ltt & amd community:
*downloaded the amdgpu pro linux driver for debian from amd site
*extracted the file, edited the "amdgpu-pro-install" file string "ubuntu" to "zorin" to be a "supported" os
*ran it in the terminal & was installed successfully
*installed ssh via terminal
*rebooted & was able to log-in until the white screen of death (only the cursor appears on the desktop)..
*was forced to remove the driver but since no opencl, still can't run gpu client on f@h
*also tried installing opencl manually (not the amdgpu pro driver) via terminal including dev & sdk then installed f@h, still no dice
gonna fold first with my current windows machine. hope help comes soon. tyvm in advance.
