GPU Can Only Fold One Unit at a Time

Started folding again about 3 weeks ago and things were going smoothly until about 4 days ago. Had a small power outage and since then my laptop gpu hasn't been detected by folding (gpu is working). Seems odd since the outage shouldn't have affected anything with the option to pause folding when on battery power being turned on (I've had the laptop unplugged on occasions prior to this issue). I have tried uninstall/reinstall of client and drivers. If I manually remove the slot and add it again the client will fold on the gpu for the unit then fail to run a new WU once the previous is done. Client lists my system as having no GPU throughout this process.

here is an overnight log. I've deleted recurring errors after the first few. The last few lines are after I've deleted and configured the slot.

The message "clGetDeviceInfo (-5)" means that OpenCL cannot obtain the necessary resources needed to run the assigned WU on FAHCore_21.

When the servers and the projects are properly configured, you should never be assigned a WU that your system cannot process. I don't have enough information to tell FAH management what needs to be corrected (and I couldn't fix it myself, even if I did) but I'll pass this problem up the line so somebody who CAN fix it will dig into it in the morning.

Thanks for the info. Could it be a possible thing on my end in terms of OpenCL drivers?

If your GPU drivers are the Intel version (often supplied by the OS) then that's likely your problem. If you got you OpenCL from the Khronos Group, then that's not the problem. Those from other sources may or may not work.

If your laptop can disable the NV GPU when switched to battery, you know why it can't access it anymore ... do you still see it with GPUZ ?

You misunderstood. The laptop doesn't disable the GPU, the F@H client has a laptop setting to pause folding when unplugged so it doesn't toast your battery immediately. GPU is detected at all times by my laptop and runs as it should outside folding
It also appears to have the khronos group version

By default, the pause-on-battery setting is set to true (see the Advanced Settings panel. It can be turned off but that makes you responsible for avoiding draining your battery quickly.

If I want to move my laptop from upstairs to downstairs, I like it to keep folding for the minute or two before I get it plugged in again but I'd never leave it unplugged for very long.
