The Stanford time in forum header

Post by toTOW »

How is this clock handled by the forum ?

I think it lost its setting since it indicates Stanford time: 2018-02-03 09:12:19 while it's 12:12 here in GMT+1 timezone. I think the time difference should be at least twice (depending on daylight saving time being active or not) between me and Stanford.

The date/time of the posts in the forum is correct and translated to my timezone, so I guess the issue is only with the Stanford time clock ...

This still looks wrong ... my last post is shown on the message as "Wed Jul 25, 2018 17:46 +00:00" whereas I believe it should be either "Wed Jul 25, 2018 17:46 +01:00" or "Wed Jul 25, 2018 16:46 +00:00". This implies that daylight saving has not been allowed for correctly (and would not have been apparent in February).

The "Stanford time" clock is currently showing GMT which is also wrong.

This version of phpBB software doesn't recognize timezones -- which includes Daylight Savings/Summer Time offsets. You have to set it yourself.

As you probably also know, GMT does not change twice a year, even those living it Greenwich do.

How do I do that? Thanks!

The time shows correctly in the Control Panel, but is 2 hours off in the Stanford Time slot.

I think only some of the Board skin/themes/styles actually have that - might be why I am missing it - I use Artodia: Black

Xeon E3-1505Mv5, 32GB DDR4, NVME, W10-Pro, Quadro M1000M
