Hey, I am trying to get this app to work. This app is to monitor your computers remotely, correct? I have tried to use the guide here:
https://fah-web.stanford.edu/projects/F ... oteClients
I have read somewhere it doesn't work with windows 7, is this true? Does this guide actually work? Is there something I am missing when setting up my clients and app?
Thanks,
erik

Re: FAHControl android app
The link you gave is more for those who want to create an app to use the remote API. It's not an app itself.
Having my own iOS app out there the API works well against all three supported client OS. I also started a port to Android but kind of paused it (but technically working).
Where did you got the Android app from ? The best is to contact the developer if there is an issue with the app.
What might also help is to share your first 150 lines of logfile;there are few settings your folding client need to have that the API can work ( allows IP; remote password). You can always simple try telnet <remote host> 36330 and see if you can basically connect.
