System is
Asus Maximus IV Extreme
i7-2700k cpu
16Gb RAM
GTX Titan watercooled @ stock clocks
1200W psu

I went into Configure last evening and changed the flag on the gpu from "client-type advanced" to "client-type beta" but the problem is still occurring...
Any insight to this problem is appreciated...

No support here for using the beta flag. If you are a member of the beta team, ask in the beta forum. If not, don't use it.

Is the error report the same in Advanced? Is you GPU overclocked? Is it overheating?

Not a member of the beta team, but pulling out what little hair I had left I was ready to try anything...so I went to the "beta" flag. Yes, I'm getting the same error with the "advanced" flag. GPU is not overclocked and not overheating. Clocks are at 1097/3005 and temps are at 27-30C...

Error 0xc0000005 is a Windows error, so the Windows event Viewer will have an entry at that time. Please post that information.

Development may need that core-dump, too so save it somewhere.

I understand! But actually it won't help. Beta will assign higher risk WUs, when what you want is to remove potential problems. The way to go (in general, though it may not help here) is to remove the Advanced flag, and just get the safest WUs until the problem is solved. Then, if running a higher risk and looking for problems is your thing, think about joining the beta team.

Identifying problems in WUs whether they're assigned during "Advanced" or any other setting is still an important process, though, so I'd really like to gather the information about this failure.

Where did you get your drivers from ? Did you try installing newer version or reinstalling them (always get drivers from NV website) ?

That error message does, in fact, indicate that the problem is being caused by something called SuperShield. Presumably that's some kind of security software that you're running which is blocking the FahCore from processing the WU that has been downloaded. You'll have to figure out how to allow FAH to bypass that security check.

toTow, it's a product developed by PCPitstop. @ bruce, that does appear to be the problem and we're working on a "fix".

Thanks all!

Definitely not the kind of software I would install on my machines  ... sounds like the only thing they want is to take your money, causing more issues than what they're supposed to solve
