a couple of months a go, my fah client was unreachable. after a few weeks of nothing accomplished I remove the program and reloaded it from the information page and got it to accept my user name and team 142900. apparently I was not the only one on the team to have this problem.
since I started folding I was receiving both cpu and gpu wu and have it set up to fold any project cpu use 7 of 8 cores and gpu. most of the time I am folding on high except when I go into battle in a game. to reduce lag in game I set to light or pause until battle is finished, 30 to 45 minutes.
when I started folding in march I was getting 35 to 65k ppd. now I am lucky if I get 20k ppd?
so, am I now doing 1/3 the work?
my system is i7-4710mq 2.5 to 3.5 ghz 6m smartcashe/NVidia 860m x 4gb ram/ 16gb ddr3/1333 matched ram on a hm87 board

Re: what has changed
When you reinstalled the folding client, did you remember to also set the passkey? That is the most likely reason for the drop in points.

Re: what has changed
ok, thank you. found and entered passkey and points generated for the team will be close to 65k per day. didn't know that would make that much difference.

Re: what has changed
It makes that much difference because without one your WU's returned after the reinstall did not earn the Quick Return Bonus (QRB). The QRB significantly increases the points awarded, especially on faster CPU's and GPU's.
