new to folding and need help

I thought the home page would have a login so I could enter my passkey when I got account activated. I found it very confusing and kept getting sent in circles. and when I tried to register on forums I didn't see a picture. had to do internet search to find answer.so, is there a different homepage where members can log in and track their work units and other info or do I have to remain anonymous?

It is not clear which homepage you are referring to, the one for the Folding Forum or that at the Stanford folding site. If you mean this site, at some point the picture was changed to showing up in a pop-up window, possibly that was blocked by your browser.

However the Folding Forum is not a homepage for tracking WU's and related folding statistics. It is a support site for persons running the Folding@home software client. There is a link at the top of the forum page using most themes to the Official Stats page, and to the third party stats page at Extreme Overclocking. Kakao stats still has a link there, but the operator of that site discontinued it earlier this year. On the Official Stats page you can check your stats using your username and/or passkey.
