it then went and downloaded a 2621. What could cause this EUE?

I'm not sure we can always determine the exact cause, but FAH Wiki has some info on Core Status = 79 errors here ---> http://fahwiki.net/index.php/CoreStatus_codes#79

I checked the above link, but the only possibility that I see is that the WU was corrupt. :? I'm not overclocking and the permissions can't be a problem if it effects only 1 WU and not the others. Has anybody else had this WU? :?:

So far, nobody has returned that WU and "bad WU" is often the case when you get an occasional EUE.

I would agree with the possibility of it being just a bad WU, but just in case i've made sure Peter has seen your post!
