Weird WU's

Post by pmasley »

The last thre WU's that I have run are giving really weird times. The one that I am running now has 5000 frames, it states that each frame is going to take 340 minutes each and the WU will end on September 1, 2011. I really expect a high point value for running this one. :D

The only people who report this sort of situation are people who are running the GUI client and they have a WU that has just started. (I'm assuming that might describe you.) The GUI client gives extremely inaccurate estimates until it has completed several percent of the WU. After it has established accurate times for a few percent, it has a basis to make a more reasonable estimate.
